As we reach the milestone of our 20
th
Anniversary we would love to thank you for helping us Unleash Potential and bringing so many positive changes to our communities.
Many, many paws have helped improved youth mental health in our Canines in the Classroom program, have touched the lives of elementary students through our Reading Buddy program and have improved lives through our Life Partner and Facility Dog programs.
It is hard to believe that 20 years has passed since COPE Service Dogs Founder and Teacher, Jane Boake, started our Canines in the Classroom program in her home in 2000. Jane’s mission was to empower students to face and overcome their own challenges while training COPE’s service dogs alongside a professional trainer. Since inception, thousands of students have been empowered through this program.
Speaking of thousands, they say a picture is worth a 1000 words! We thought you might like looking back at just a few of our many memories that you helped create!
